Bankruptcy can strike people at all levels of society, rich or poor, famous or not.
Drake Bell once starred on Nickelodeon’s show Drake and Josh. Now he is filing for bankruptcy, claiming to have debts pushing $600,000. He claims he made over $400,000 in 2012 but under $15,000 in 2013.

The Drake & Josh alum claims in the filing that he’s $581,000 in debt. Bell allegedly makes $2,820 a month, but has a whopping $18,771 in expenses. He lists the value of his house at $1.575 million, but owes $1.597 million. Bell also says he made $408,000 in 2012, but only $14,099 in 2013.
In addition to continuing to play the voice of several animated characters on TV shows, Bell has been focusing on his career in music. Last month, he released the single “Bitchcraft” from his upcoming album.
Bell’s bankruptcy news follows his public bashing and criticism of teen heartthrob Justin Bieber. Bell took to Twitter to comment on Bieber’s recent trouble with the law for allegedly egging a neighbor’s house. Continue reading…
